Numerical and experimental analyses of methane leakage in shield tunnel

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering   Pages 1011-1020 doi: 10.1007/s11709-023-0956-z

Abstract: Tunnels constructed in gas-bearing strata are affected by the potential leakage of harmful gases, suchmethane emission was diluted, and the methane accumulation was only observed in the area near the methane leakageIn addition, laboratory tests on methane leakage through segment joints were performed. The results show that the leakage process can be divided into “rapid leakage” and “slight leakage”, dependingon the leakage pressure and the state of joint deformation.

Nitrogen removal performance of municipal reverse osmosis concentrate with low C/N ratio by membrane-aerated

Xiao Quan, Kai Huang, Mei Li, Meichao Lan, Baoan Li

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2018, Volume 12, Issue 6, doi: 10.1007/s11783-018-1047-6

Abstract:

MABR exhibits excellent TN removal performance for treating ROC with low C/N ratio.

Operating conditions should be properly controlled to achieve optimal TN removal.

Denitrifying bacteria and NOB are proved notably inhibited by high salinity stress.

The TN removal rate remains over 70% when the NaCl addition amount is below 20 g/L.

Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering 2007, Volume 2, Issue 1,   Pages 50-56 doi: 10.1007/s11465-007-0008-8

Abstract: In a discharge passage with a guide blade discharge circulation and secondary flow because of bend pipe, the flow in a 1-channel discharge passage of an axial flow pump is a complicated spiral flow. For a 2-channel passage, the discharge in the left channel is bigger than that in the right, and thepassage hydraulic losses are abnormal. As for the 1-channel passage, the axial-flow pump outlet circulation is usually too big; the passage

Cohesive zone model-based analyses of localized leakage of segmentally lined tunnels

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2023, Volume 17, Issue 4,   Pages 503-521 doi: 10.1007/s11709-023-0927-4

Abstract: This paper presents a novel approach for simulating the localized leakage behavior of segmentally linedThe proposed approach not only simulates localized leakage at the lining segment, but also captures thebehavior, stratum seepage field, and leakage-induced mechanical response of the tunnel lining.the leakage point and slight inward deformation at its diametrically opposite side. The seepage field depends on both the number and location of the leakage zones.

Meeting Future Challenge in Copper Industry——Considerations on Treatment of Copper Sulfide Concentrate

Zhu Zuze

Strategic Study of CAE 2000, Volume 2, Issue 2,   Pages 87-90

Abstract:

A brief review of the advance of copper smelting technology and the price fluctuations of copper products indicate that the competition of copper market depends upon the production cost relying on metallurgy technology. In order to ensure the smooth development of the copper industry in China and win competition in the world, we must persist in domestic r & D and incorporation with foreign technology for copper smelting. This paper commentes on the deficiencies of intensified oxidizing-PS convetring-pyrorefining-electrolysis processes and analyzes the feasibility and basises of combined pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical method. The new combined process route will be more advantageous in future competition.

Strategic Study of CAE 2012, Volume 14, Issue 12,   Pages 19-24

Abstract:

The oil and gas pipeline system is the artery of energy for the national economy development. With China’s increasing dependence on foreign oil and gas, accessibility of oil and gas strategic passages and availability of safe and stable energy supply are the urgent affairs. In the construction process of the onshore oil and gas strategic channels, by the independent innovation based on the “1+ N” cooperative model, the pipeline design, construction, equipment localization and high-pour-point and viscous crude oil transportation and other key technologies have been formed, and the large oil and gas pipeline networks with the scale of a total length of 6×104 km, transport capacity of 1.7×108 t of oil, transmission capacity of 1.4×1011 m3 of natural gas have been built. During the operation and management of the large pipeline networks, through the establishment of e-SAME security consistency systems, the operation and management organization, asset integrity management, market guarantee and emergency maintenance and other subsystems have been developed, and the enterprise security goals have been ensured.
